Chinese valentine's day falls on the seventh day of the seventh month according to the Chinese lunar calendar. It is also called qixi festival.
It derives from a romantic myth of the sincere love between the Cowboy (Niulang) and the Weaver (Zhinv), who are separated by the Heavenly Queen with the Milky Way and allowed to meet only once in a year on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month. On this day evening, Niu Lang and Zhi Nu will meet on a bridge of magpies across the Milky Way.
